Curate cans film errors

A CURATE has banned wedding couples from sending their church video mishaps to television companies because he says it is 'immoral'.

The Rev Brian Regan, of St John the Baptist Church, in Coventry, makes couples sign a pounds 10 contract not to make money from their videos.

He said the agreement gives them a licence to film at the church providing the tape is not sold. The Granada programme, You've Been Framed, offers viewers pounds 250 for a tape of mishaps.

Mr Regan said most people at weddings and christenings were nervous and were more likely to make mistakes: 'I do not want to find myself on television if I make a mistake because I am a professional and do not want millions of people watching me,' he said.
