Cyclist wins claim

Dr David Harris, 51, of Bristol, Avon, a cyclist who fractured his skull after his front wheel got stuck in a groove on a cycle path, won pounds 40,000 in an out of court settlement. He had claimed negligence against Avon County Council at Winchester High Court.
