Rodney Smith, 26, of Little Hulton, Greater Manchester and Alan Steadman, 27, of Farnworth, Greater Manchester, were remanded in custody for a week by Bolton magistrates charged with the murder of a security guard, Ian Foster, during a robbery in Farnworth last week.
