Demonstration over deportation of PKK spokesman

A banner portrays Abdullah Ocalan, the Kurdish national leader, at a demonstration outside the Home Office yesterday. The demonstration was held to protest against the decision to deport Kani Yilmaz, a leading Kurdish nationalist and PKK spokesman, from Britain. Mr Yilmaz, who was arrested just before he was due to address MPs during a visit to London, is in Rochester Prison, Kent, awaiting deportation.
