Drink-drive judgment reserved

Three High Court judges reserved judgment on whether thousands of motorists could be entitled to have their convictions for failing to provide breath, blood or urine samples for analysis under the drink- drive laws quashed because of a legal loophole.

Lord Justice Watkins, sitting with Mr Justice Macpherson and Mr Justice Roch, said at the end of a two-day test case hearing that they hoped to give their decision very soon.
