TERRY QUINN, 42, has been appointed editor of the Daily Record, Scotland's biggest-selling daily newspaper. Mr Quinn, the editorial director of Thomson Regional Newspapers, takes over from Endell Laird, who is retiring as editor-in-chief of the Daily Record and Sunday Mail.
