A 57-year-old unmarried British woman is having fertility treatment at an Italian clinic, according to a television report on Carlton's After 5.

Jane Ward, from north London, who advertised for donors in a newspaper, was having a fertilised egg implanted in her uterus at the Naples clinic of Professor Raffaele Magli.
