A plaque is to be erected at Prestwick Airport, Ayrshire, to mark Elvis Presley's only visit to Britain - despite the fact he stayed just one hour. Presley's visit came on 2 March 1960 when the military aircraft taking him home from national service in Germany stopped to refuel.
