A former mayor who allowed a party of school children to be driven to London in a bus with 15 loose wheel nuts was yesterday banned from operating his fleet of coaches.
David Marsh, 59, who served as mayor of Wincanton in Somerset, had his licence revoked by a traffic commissioner at a Ministry of Transport inquiry in Taunton, Somerset, after it was revealed he had been served with 15 prohibition notices on his 12 vehicles in 18 months.
