Police in Ulster said that they found 1,300lbs of explosives after searches around Pomeroy, Co Tyrone. Some 1,000lbs of home-made explosives were discovered in a derelict building. Late on Tuesday night several men were arrested after 300lbs of explosives were found in a car.
