Members of the Croydon branch of the Ramblers' Association stepping out at Chipstead, Surrey, yesterday, during a family day which involved 150 walks nation-wide. The association's president, Janet Street-Porter, and Virginia Bottomley, Secretary of State for Health, were scheduled to join two of the walks.
