First escape at private prison

An inmate has escaped from the Wolds jail on Humberside, Britain's first private prison. It is the first escape from the 304- inmate prison since it opened in April last year. Craig Renshaw, a remand inmate, was still at large last night after apparently smuggling himself out with a group of visitors yesterday.
