Three fishermen were presumed drowned after their boat was found sunk by rescuers. A search for the three was launched yesterday after the vessel Peganina failed to return to its home port of Padstow in Cornwall.

Wreckage from the missing vessel - thought to be about 30ft long - was found at Gulland Rock, off Padstow, by a local fishing boat. The missing men were named as Paul Masters, 24, his cousin David Masters, 25, and Peter Hope, 23. All were from Padstow.
