Gang's 'billion dollar fraud'

A gang of forgers was jailed for up to six years for a sophisticated counterfeit currency conspiracy that could have 'seriously hurt' the US economy.

The enterprise, based in Banstead, Surrey, aimed to produce up to dollars 1bn worth of bogus dollars 100 bills, - potentially one of the world's largest forgery operations, Inner London Crown Court was told.
