Roger Morrison, 26, a soldier from the Gibraltar Regiment, died when Moroccan coastguards shot at his high-speed launch and it exploded.

Moroccan security sources said police suspected he was smuggling cigarettes from Gibraltar to Morocco when his boat was intercepted. The incident took place between the Spanish enclave of Ceuta and the Moroccan town of Tetuan.
