Girl 'critical'

A YOUNG girl in the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where two children died after apparently contracting blood infections through intravenous drips, was 'critical but stable' in intensive care. Latest tests indicated that the source of the septicaemia that has so far affected four children was liquid feed rather than equipment.
