A TEENAGER who gave birth in secret and threw the new-born baby out of her bedroom window was given a three-year supervision order at the Old Bailey yesterday.

Neighbours at Willesden, north-west London, heard the baby whimpering, but thought it was a cat. The body was found next morning. The girl admitted infanticide.

Ann Curnow QC, for the prosecution, said the girl, who is now 16, was made pregnant by her mother's boyfriend. He has been jailed for nine months after admitting unlawful sexual intercourse.
