Gun in court

A man who tried to take a loaded gun into the High Court was given a two-year suspended sentence and ordered to pay pounds 1,000 fines and costs at Southwark Crown Court. Edward Schwartz, 49, of Stepney, east London, who admitted possessing a firearm, said he had forgotten it was in his pocket.
