YEVGENY Bareyev, last year's winner, and Jonathan Speelman pulled away from the rest in the fifth round of the Hastings International Chess tournament, with wins against John Nunn and Colin Crouch respectively. Bareyev leads with 4.5 points, Speelman has 4 - 1.5 ahead of the field.
