Hillsborough boy sentenced

Joseph Boughton, 18, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court to five years' detention for the rape of a 25-year-old woman at her home when he was 16. The judge told Broughton he had treated the woman like a 'rag doll'.

Counsel for the defence said Broughton had been affected by his experience of being on the terraces at the Hillsborough disaster in 1989 when he had helped to clear dead bodies.
