Bank & Monument stations have been closed due to a flood alert.

According to the BBC, a fire alarm was set off causing the sprinklers to react and flood the station with water

The station was closed at approximately 6am, causing severe delays to Central, Northern and DLR lines.

According to TfL, the Waterloo and City line and trains between Bank and Shadwell on the DLR are not running.

Northern lines trains via Bank are operating southbound only.

Bus operators and several train companies, including c2c, have said they will accept underground tickets “on all reasonable routes”.
