ALEXANDER Taylor, 51, of Stoke-sub-Hamdon, Somerset, and Michael Norman, 51, of Wreningham, Norfolk, appeared at Horseferry Road Court, London, and were remanded in custody accused of a making pounds 12m blackmail threats to three supermarket stores - Sainsbury, Safeway and Tesco - that products would be contaminated with lethal viruses and poisons.
