Climber films walk over rickety bridge to cross Highland river
Andy O'Brien filmed himself inching across two metal girders
A mountain climber filmed the moment he inched along a rickety bridge to cross a river in the Scottish Highlands.
Andy O'Brien, from Glasgow, recorded the crossing at the foot of Beinn a'Chreachain while hillwalking over the weekend. The 1,081-metre peak sits to the north-west of Loch Lyon in Perthshire.
Made of two iron girders the bridge is positioned several feet above the rushing water.
Posting the footage to Facebook, he wrote: "The shady bridge crossing that I had to do twice".
Mr O'Brien added: "Too awkward to crawl. If my feet were any wider I would be close to getting them stuck. Was worse on the way back [because] I was tired."
Friends on social media "liked" his bravery, although one told him he was "off [his] rocker" for attempting the crossing.
