The new Archbishop of Canterbury made his debut on Radio 4's religious slot Thought for the Day this morning – and admitted he rarely listens to it.

Questioned by presenters on the Today programme after his address, Justin Welby said his schedule did not allow him to regularly hear the short daily feature.
