Two viable improvised explosive devices have been made safe near Dublin.

They were dealt with by army bomb disposal experts in Bray early today.

The Defence Forces deployed the team to an address at Ballywaltrim Heights following a request by the gardai around midnight.

The scene was declared safe at 1am, and the devices were handed over to the gardai for their investigations.
