Does size matter? Survey shows one in five men unhappy with their penis

The Scottish and the wealthy are most likely to be content with their measurements

The old adage that size doesn’t matter is a bitter untruth for many it appears, with one in five men revealing they are unhappy with the size of their penis.

Although the vast majority of males were pleased with the size of their endowment, according to the British Sex Survey carried out by The Observer, the figure of those feeling morose about their manhood is lower than six years ago, when 86 per cent of males were happy with how they measured up.

Those who were most content with their penis size were Scotsmen, of whom 88 per cent said they were happy.

The survey also revealed that men are far less confident in the bedroom than they used to be, with only 1 in 3 men happy with their prowess at sex – down from 55 per cent of men in 2008.

The survey of British sexual behaviour which polled 1,052 UK adults also found that on average Britons are having less sex. The proportion of the population having no regular sex has increased by 8 per cent since 2008.

UK adults are apparently having sex on average four times per month, down on the 2008 average of seven times per month.
