Motorcyclist chases hit-and-run driver after spotting man clinging to car bonnet
Driver claims man on his bonnet 'got what was coming to him'
Police are hunting for a motorist who drove off with a man clinging to his car bonnet after a suspected hit-and-run.
The incident was captured on camera by a motorcyclist travelling on the A4 near Brentford, west London.
It shows the pedestrian lying on the front of a silver Mercedes with his legs dangling over the front grille.
The car slows down as it passes the motorcyclist on the other side of the dual carriageway before accelerating down the road.
After a short chase, the motorcyclist – who calls himself Mr Short Rider on his Youtube channel – caught up with the driver and confronted him at a set of red lights.
By that time the man on the bonnet had disappeared.
When asked what happened, the driver replied: “I don’t care. He was trying to block off the road, being a d***head, a***hole, being a pr***. He got what was coming to him.”
The Metropolitan Police said the pedestrian attended hospital for treatment and was discharged following the incident at around midday on 12 May.
“There has been no arrest and enquiries continue,” added a spokesman.
