Hundreds jump in for their December Dip
Some 300 swimmers took part yesterday in the fourth annual Outdoor Swimming Society December Dip, held at Parliament Hill Lido, north London.
A band accompanied the bathers, and mince pies were on offer to those who took to the water.
Outdoor swimming has been experiencing a revival, and the OSS has launched a map plotting the country's favourite swim spots.
