Identity of £38m lottery winner stays secret

The UK ticketholder who scooped almost £38m on Friday's EuroMillions jackpot has banked the winnings but decided to remain anonymous. The prize of £37,827,314.60 was won by one person.

It is the UK's 14th-largest jackpot win and the eighth big British EuroMillions triumph this year. The lottery operator Camelot said no details about the winner would be released.
