Police treating death as unexplained
Police are treating as unexplained the death of a man whose body was found on a building site in north London.
Paramedics reported they had found a man’s body in Filey Avenue, Stamford Hill, on Monday morning.
The Metropolitan Police said it was still investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 9.27am on Monday, 31 December to a man found deceased at a building site on Filey Avenue, Hackney.
“Officers attended the scene.
“At this early stage the death is being treated as unexplained.
“Next of kin have not yet been informed.
“Enquiries continue.”
