Mackay considers judge's future

THE Lord Chancellor, Lord Mackay, is to consider the future of a judge accused of offering money for sex to a male undercover reporter. The Sun newspaper alleged that Gerald Lumley, 45, a bachelor who sits as a Crown Court Recorder and is a barrister on the North-Eastern Circuit, was involved in homosexual sex sessions.
