Milton Keynes stabbings: Second man charged with murder of two teenagers at party to appear in court

Dom Ansah and Ben Gillham-Rice, both 17, stabbed to death at birthday event

A second man charged with the murder of two 17-year-olds and the attempted murder of two other males at a house party in Milton Keynes will appear in court.

Dom Ansah and Ben Gillham-Rice were attacked just before midnight last Saturday. Both died as a result of knife injuries. Dom died from a knife wound to the back, while Ben was stabbed in the chest.

Earl Bevans, 22, of no fixed abode, is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with two counts of murder.

Mr Bevans also faces two counts of attempted murder, after a 17-year-old boy and 23-year-old man were taken to hospital from the birthday party on the Emerson Valley estate with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

It is the second court hearing related to the fatal attack after Charlie Chandler, 21, of Fitzilliam Street, Bletchley appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Friday, also charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Mr Chandler will next appear at Luton Crown Court on Monday.

“We are still looking for others and they know who they are,” said Thames Valley Police’s head of crime, Detective Chief Superintendent Ian Hunter. “I want to appeal directly to those people. We are looking for you and we will find you, however long it takes.

“At this stage we have not released your names or photographs, so please hand yourself in to the nearest police station as soon as possible.

“This is not going to go away and if we have to, we will name you so there will be no place for you to hide.”

The force also urged witnesses to come forward and thanked those who had done so already.

“There are some people who have vital information and have not come forward or are refusing to assist. Some of these are very important witnesses,” Dt Ch Supt Hunter added.

“I know there will be various reasons for being reluctant to get involved but please, please think about the fact that Dom and Ben have been killed and how you would feel if this was your family.”
