A five-year-old boy died of head injuries after an accident on a child's motorcycle, police said today.
Jake Wilson was seriously hurt when riding the bike in the grounds of a cattle market in Carmarthen, west Wales, on Sunday.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene at about 3.30pm, but Jake died later of his injuries at West Wales General Hospital.
Dyfed-Powys Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and have described it as a tragic accident.
A police spokeswoman said a post-mortem examination found today he died from head injuries.
The accident happened in a car park at the Livestock Centre next to Carmarthen Showground in Nantyci on the western outskirts of the town.
Managers at the site say the market was closed and locked for Christmas at the time.
