Model 'dragged underneath bus'
A 23-year-old model is recovering after she was dragged under a bus, it was reported today.
Latishia Brazier, from Water Orton, Birmingham, is said to have suffered punctured lungs, fractured ribs and a broken neck in the accident in central London.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said they were called to the scene of the accident in the early hours of March 2.
"A 23-year-old female pedestrian was taken by London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital suffering from neck and arm injuries and the last we heard was that she was in a stable condition," he said.
"Officers in Westminster are investigating and inquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made."
Ms Brazier's 33-year-old brother Earl, a facilities manager, was reported as saying that his sister, who is a fashion student, had tried to board the bus after a night out with friends and had got dragged underneath.
She is said to have undergone skin grafts following the accident.
