A coach driver was arrested last night after one person died and 40 were injured in a crash on the M5 in the West Midlands involving a coach and a lorry.
The 49-year-old driver, from Birmingham, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, the police said. A 35-year-old man, from Birmingham, who was in the coach, died. Two others, including the lorry driver, were left critically injured.
