£1.2m National Lottery jackpot unclaimed

A ticket-holder who has won £1.2 million on the National Lottery is yet to come forward, Lotto chiefs said today.

Players were urged to check their wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa for tickets from Wednesday February 10.

The lucky ticket, with the winning numbers 5, 7, 15, 37, 42, 44 and bonus ball number 3, was bought in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

The winning ticket matches all six numbers to win a jackpot prize totalling £1,178,108.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life.

"We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune!

"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."

The ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Monday August 9 to make their claim.
