The bodies of two men were found by rescue services in a loch in Argyll this morning.
The search was launched after four men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were on Loch Awe early this morning. They were thought to have been in a small boat.
The continuing efforts to look for the remaining two men involve police, a Royal Navy helicopter and coastguards.
Police received a call at about 3.45am and the bodies of the two dead men were recovered at 6.17am.
A Strathclyde Police spokesman said: "All available means are being used for the search and the search is still ongoing at present."
The search is focused on the area close to Kilchurn Castle, near Dalmally.
