The Bristol City match was called off because enough stewards to ensure crowd safety could not get to the Ashton Gate ground. There is also the threat of cancellation hanging over a specially arranged fixture at Bath University, which was intended to give the Great Britain and Northern Ireland under-20 athletes a final chance to win places for the World Junior Championships in Chile next month.
