The Supreme Court 's Brexit decision was hit by technical issues because of the "heavy rain" in London.
As president of the Supreme Court Lady Hale read out her decision on one of the most important court hearings in British history , her voice appeared distorted and inaudible.
"We apologise to those of you experiencing problems with the sound on the live stream," the BBC's live blog read.
"We are told it is a problem from within the Supreme Court itself, and is due to the heavy rain in London."
The issue appeared to be a problem with the Supreme Court's own live feed, which is provided to media. It could be heard on the live coverage from Sky News, as well as the Supreme Court's own website.

Lady Hale would later announce that proroguing parliament was unlawful, in a major blow for Boris Johnson and the government.
"The prorogation was void and of no effect," she said. "Parliament has not been prorogued."
By that time, the judge's microphone was working and the decision could be heard properly.
