Tests on river death boy 'inconclusive'
Post-mortem tests on a six-year-old boy who died after falling into a river proved "inconclusive", police said today.
Alan Lock, of Acton, Suffolk, died late on Tuesday after being pulled from the River Stour in nearby Sudbury.
The youngster had been walking through a wood with a local Beaver Scout group when the accident happened.
Scenes of crime officers carried out a detailed examination on a bridge which runs about 20ft above the river.
Police said today that Alan's death was not being treated as suspicious and more tests were being carried out.
