Three dead as two vehicles collide in East Yorkshire

Three people were killed and two others were seriously injured during a collision between two vehicles on a country road in East Yorkshire.

Humberside Police said they were called to the A614, close to the village of East Cowick, near Goole in at around 1.35 on yesterday afternoon.

The road was closed southbound between A1041 and between Rivers Lane in East Cowick; north of the M62 motorway. A spokesman confirmed the accident had resulted in three deaths and two other serious injuries but could give few other details.
