A Sumatran tiger residing at London Zoo has been given swimming lessons to cool him down in the recent British heatwave.

The big cat, named JJ, was initially reluctant to swim beyond the shallow end, but zookeepers put his favourite food on a raft to encourage him into the deep part of the pool.
