A toddler is in hospital being treated for internal injuries having plunged 100 feet from a fifth floor flat in Plymouth.

Police says the girl is in a “stable condition” after falling from the window of a flat in Savage Road, Barne Barton.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall police said they were called to the address at around 8.25am on Saturday morning.

“There have been no arrests and we are not treating the incident as suspicious,” the police said.

The toddler remains in Derriford Hospital, where she was taken after the accident.
