Tube drivers call Boxing Day strike
London Underground workers are to stage four strikes – one on Boxing Day and three in the new year – in a dispute over bank-holiday pay.
Aslef has been seeking "adequate compensation" for working on Boxing Day. London Underground said the union's "outrageous" claim for triple pay and a day off in lieu of Boxing Day went against an agreement that all unions had signed.
