Rail union leaders are to press for a special payment of at least £500 for Tube staff working during next year's Olympic Games in London.

Bob Crow, general secretary of the RMT union, said he wanted a deal similar to one agreed for Network Rail (NR) staff of a 10 per cent wage rise and a one-off Olympics pay increase of £500.
