Two people have been killed after the light aircraft they were travelling in crashed into fields in Leicestershire, police have confirmed.
Both passengers were pronounced dead at the scene by air ambulance paramedics.
Emergency services were called to attend the incident near Fenn Lane, Fenny Drayton, at 6.45pm on Sunday.
Officers remained at the site overnight.
The scene of the crash has been cordoned off and will be examined by the Air Accidents Investigation.
