Fifteen severe flood warnings have been issued for parts of Lancashire and West Yorkshire, meaning there is a danger to life.

Emergency services have been working to evacuate those trapped by the floods caused by torrential rains on Boxing Day.

The army have been deployed around the area to help build up flood defences as more heavy rain is forecast for the next 36 hours.
