The next few days will bring largely cloudy conditions across most of the UK, with sunny spells in some parts of the country and heavy rain in others.
Temperatures throughout this period are expected to be warmer than they were last week, reaching the low-20s in the south and southeast of England.
Some heavy rain is expected early on Monday in the northwest, moving southwards. There may be fog patches in the south, but these will clear away to a brighter morning - however, it will become increasingly cloudy throughout the day.
In London, there will be some early sunny spells but cloud will build up through the morning and into the afternoon. It is expected to remain largely dry but cloudy overnight, and temperatures will be mild.
According to the Met Office, Tuesday will bring some sunny spells for east Scotland and northeast England, but heavier rain in the north later in the day. Weather conditions are otherwise mostly cloudy with light rain for western coasts and hills.
More sunny spells and showers are expected on Wednesday, but the clouds will make way for a much clearer, sunnier day for many on Thursday although temperatures will take a slight dip then.
