Police looking for a missing 11-year-old girl in West Yorkshire have found a body in a river.

Ursula Keogh, from Halifax, was last seen at around 3.30pm on Monday walking across a bridge.

The body of a young girl was found by police in the River Calder at Paris Gates in Halifax.

While formal identification has yet to take place, police have informed Ursula’s family.

West Yorkshire Police said they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.

“Inquiries remain ongoing to determine a cause of death,” a statement said.
