Amateur footage has captured a British Airways plane with what appears to be smoke coming from one of the aircraft engines.

BA said the flight, BA762, which was headed to Oslo returned to Heathrow following a technical fault. The company said they will be carrying out a full investigation.

There was speculation that the aircraft had run into a flock of birds.
